In Loving memory of Scott Gohl ~ we will miss you!

Dear Friends: (from Tracy Gohl)
Almost 14 years ago this week Scott took me to a beautiful Pacific Ocean overlook in Palos Verdes and asked me to become his wife. As he got down on one knee in front of me, the bright memorial day sun gently kissed the horizon of the water. He asked me to make him the luckiest man alive and through my elated sobs I choked out a “YES!” and became the luckiest woman in the world.

Last night, almost exactly one year to the day of our engagement – husband, father, brother, friend -Scott lost his courageous fight to brain cancer. While it was a peaceful, beautiful and powerful moment, I know that this loss will stay with me and all of us for many years to come. We will miss him terribly, but in my heart I know that his wish to “have clarity” has been granted and the release of his ailing body has allowed him to now become an angel dancing above us and looking down on us forever. For that I am grateful and blessed and with that thought I will continue living my life knowing that I was the luckiest woman in the world to have known him and to have been married to him.

We love you Scott.
